Project scope: Logo

I had the pleasure of working with a hair salon that wanted to revamp it’s branding to reflect its fun and relaxed vibe.

The hair salon owners wanted a logo that would be easily identified as a hair salon from the street. After brainstorming with the client, I came up with several design concepts centered around hair-themed icons and playful colors.

Eventually, we landed on a concept that incorporated a hand holding hair shears, and a custom handtype for their business name. We tried a few different color combinations and ultimately settled on a monochromatic color scheme.

Creating the final logo involved a lot of experimentation with color and illustrative styling. We went through several rounds of revisions with the client until we landed on a final version that perfectly encapsulates the salon's fun, relaxed vibe. The owner was thrilled with the final result and we are excited to see the logo in action as the salon's main business signage.
